Alix joined HOPE in April of 2018. Prior to HOPE, her experience was at a local agency providing outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents and adults who experienced or were exposed to violence within the Rockford, Il area. She also provided therapy services to children and adolescents within the school setting who were experiencing social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. In addition, to the previous experience she also worked in a hospital as part of a crisis team to assess for inpatient/outpatient treatment and provided individual and family counseling services. Alix is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy; Attachment, Regulation and Competency; Child and Parent Psychotherapy; and Cognitive Behavioral therapy Evidence Based treatment interventions for the treatment for child and adolescent anxiety, depression and Conduct Related Disorders. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to the client and their individual needs.
