Adolescence is a wonderful yet chaotic time in a person's development. A stage of rapid change in neurological, physical, social, and emotional growth.

Perceptions of self and others are developed in one's childhood and anchored in adolescence; and,  becomes the foundation for how one adapts to the social world and engages in future hopes and endeavors.
Developmental changes in combination with life stressors can create a perfect storm that may lead to self-image problems, insecurities, high demands on self, relational issues, and much more. It is crucial at this stage of development that teens develop healthy coping skills and a healthy emotional foundation to weather the storms of life.
