Group Therapy

Group therapy meets the needs and challenges that individual therapy may not address.  A sense of belonging and being a part of a group is a way we can fulfill this need. Group therapy addresses fears assist with feelings of being alone and provides emotional support which can often be more powerful when there is a group of people experiencing the same struggles.  

Current groups offered at HOPE:

Teen Grief Group – Ages 13-17  Tuesdays 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Children’s Social Skills – Ages 5-8 Wednesdays 5:00 – 6:00 pm

Children’s Social Skills – Ages 9-12  Wednesday 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Teen Art Group – ages 13-17 Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Our group therapies range from mental health specific topics to cultural trends and supportive needs. Topics will vary according to interest and needs.  We welcome input and interests for group topics. We will make efforts to create a group that fits the needs of the community. Please contact us at (815) 601- HOPE with ideas.
